I read the reviews and was dreading putting this together but loved the look so took a chance. It took me right at 3 hours to assemble but that includes 2 breaks because sitting on the floor got uncomfortable. I laid out all of the labeled packets in order, grouped all of the pieces and grabbed my electric screwdriver. That saved me soooo much time. I cannot imagine doing that by hand. The instructions could be better but I really didn’t have any problem. Time and money well spent.I did a lot of research on dressers before I decided on this one. Mostly because I needed one for my new nursery. I’m going to use this as the babies dresser, and I’m going to put a baby changing table pad on the top of it. When I receive this dresser I have never put a dresser together before, so this was definitely my first go at it. It took me about three hours to put it together mostly because I have severe carpal tunnel. I’m also 29 weeks pregnant so my limbs were a little swollen and it was harder to do this under a certain amount of time. They could probably take somebody about a good hour and a half to two hours to complete this project. It came with a lot more to it than I thought. The easiest parts were the drawers just for the simple fact it was a lot of repetitive motions. But everything fit perfectly together. The instructions were super easy to read, and I was able to put it together by myself. I usually have my husband help me but he’s been gone these last couple weeks. it’s definitely a heavy dresser, but it’s not cheaply made. It’s a good solid wood which is what makes it so heavy. I say it weighs about a good 50 pounds maybe even 65 pounds. It did come well packed, and none of the dresser had any scrapes on it. I would definitely say for the price this definitely is a good dresser and I would recommend itThis piece looks cool but is smaller than I figured it would be. Additionally, I received two bent brackets pictured in this review. I've un-bent them, but two drawers don't roll as smoothly as the others, with one rubbing against the dresser.Will pick up a higher quality dresser in time.Drawers don’t line up. Maybe assembly issue. Who knows.Dresser is easy to put together.quality control could be better,my dresser came with the hardware holes drilled on the wrong side of one of the drawer faces but i just made it work.This dresser is not worth the price! It’s cheap and the drawers don’t work well. I’m not happy with it at all. The drawers are also very small.The dresser wobbles, the drawers are not big enough to fit anything other than underwear and socks, if that and the gold isn’t gold. The handles are. The handles don’t match the handles….Lots of parts. Not easy to assemble. Material cheap. But you get what you pay for.
