Really wanted to love this dresser and at the time we purchased there were no reviews yet so we took a chance. We had an old hand me down that wasn't riding the tracks anymore and handles starting to break so purchased this $350 dresser.Now listen...If it were about $150 cheaper it would be worth the "quality" but honestly wish we had gone to Ashley Furniture for a better piece even if it meant coming out of pocket more.It was missing the instructions which we only realized after laying all the parts out and not finding them so great start! We contacted seller who did eventually send, but luckily also found in the Amazon section as to not disrupt my hubby's energy LOLTook my husband alone, with multiple sports distractions, and plenty of beer, about 4 hours to put together. He noted there were many misaligned - or missing all together - pilot holes. The drawers have specific sides, but on the plus they glide well and the dresser itself is STOUT.However the most frustrating aspect is these drawers don't sit square or flush. I've moved every drawer about 90 million times trying to find a combination that is aesthetically pleasing to no avail.It is functioning, but another con is the drawers don't open very wide; top drawer is a little over 11 inch deep but I can't access nearly a third of the backside. Also the drawers themselves are much smaller than I was expecting given the overall dims of the dresser.Conclusion, you really don't see the issues until it's totally built at which point their is no chance of deconstructing to return. It would maybe make a better child dresser given the size of the drawers and the fact the drawers don't like up cleanly. The dresser is also stout and the framing is awesome! If those drawers sat flush, I'd even forgive the shallow opening for more stars. However, definitely not quite what we were looking for given the price for a master bedroom.This dresser is just beautiful. It did take my husband and I like 6 hours to put together. It's definitely a project I would set aside a day for. But it was totally worth it. It's lovely and very sturdy. I'm taking off one star because the drawers are very small. They are shallow and not very deep. I went from two large drawers to ten in this dresser and still had to get rid of a lot of clothes to make it all fit.I had high hopes for this dresser but it did not deliver.I followed the instructions to the letter and was very disappointed upon finishing that the drawers didn’t line up or close properly.Additional cons to the product:- material felt cheap-the tabletop piece isn’t finished or sanded well so it had a rough touch to it-the instructions had errors in that the top piece didn’t have pre-drilled holes that aligned w the middle drawers-the quality of each drawer felt flimsy-my top piece had a crack in it-very time consuming to put together. Took over 4 hours solo to doGiven the price point of this dresser, I expected more. I wish I had an IKEA nearby because I would have rather spent less and gotten better quality there than wasted my time with this.Now to contact the seller and see if they’ll refund meUPDATE: seller was responsive and tried to help troubleshoot. They were successful in helping me adjust the drawers correctly, but not other defects. They ended up issuing me a half refund which I accepted and appreciatedComplex to put together. No all drawers fit nicely after put together. One drawer on my dresser does not close all the way.Bottom foot cracked when I was installing it. Cheap wood but cheap price for what it is.
